I posted on your main ‘High DPI Settings in Windows’ article about how Windows 10 appears to enable DPI Virtualization for 125% scaling (120DPI) by default so I’ve just been trying to follow the process you describe above to change this behaviour using ‘System wide scaling’. Luckily, it’s still pretty easy to access from the standard desktop: right-click any empty area and select “Display Settings.” This will bring you to the following menu, assuming you’re running the latest Creator’s Update.

In Windows 10, scaling has been moved to the new “Display” section of the updated, touch-friendly Settings menu.

If you open a Remote Desktop connection to a server or other computer the native resolution of the computer is used instead of the scaling to 1920×1080, so you’ll get very small icons etc.
